Setup Overview
The Zendesk for monday.com app brings your teams on Zendesk and monday.com closer by integrating their workflows intelligently across these platforms. To enable your teams to work where they prefer, this integration requires an installation on both Zendesk and monday.com. Additionally, a 2-way sync must be setup from Zendesk to ensure updates flow seamlessly between the platforms. This guide will walk you throw the simple steps that help unlock the full value of this powerful app.
Note: This guide assumes the Zendesk for monday.com app has already been installed on your monday.com account from the monday.com Marketplace. .
Install on Zendesk
Install the monday.com by Strivelabs.ai app from the Zendesk Marketplace and follow the prompts to add the app to your Zendesk account.

Configure on Zendesk
Permissions required for configuring the 2-way sync:
- Zendesk: Administrator privileges are needed to configure the 2-way sync.
- monday.com:
- You must be a Workspace and Board Member for all Boards involved in the sync.
- You need permissions to "Create automations/integrations" in each Workspace where the sync will be set up.
Once installed, configure the app as follows -
In your Zendesk account, open any existing ticket.
Click on the "Apps" icon in the right-hand side-panel.
Find the monday.com by Strivelabs.ai app in the list of apps, and pin it for easy access.
Authorize the app by connecting your monday.com account.

If you are a Zendesk admin, you should see a notification to set up the 2-way sync. Click on “Set up 2-way sync” to begin.

Authorize the app with Zendesk to enable the sync.

Select the Workspaces and the Boards you want to sync and click on “Create Sync” to activate it.

Note: The Zendesk app only supports working with one monday.com account at this time.

You can uninstall the app from your monday.com account by following these official instructions.
You will additionally need to uninstall the app from your Zendesk account by following these official instructions. This requires admin privileges on Zendesk.
Any data associated with the app is removed within 30 days of uninstallation on Zendesk. If you wish to expedite this clean up, please write to us at care@strivelabs.ai to request the same.
